Has anbody done a comparson of the EDM 900 vs the EDM 930, they look like they have the same functionality to me, I'm going to upgrade later this year and I have seen several posts here recommending the 930.

I believe they are functionally the same, but the -900 is smaller and evolved from the -700/730 form factor and was approved as primary instrument replacement within the last year. The -930 is larger, and sized to fit in an avionics rack. It was originally designed as a primary replacement several years ago. I don't believe there is much price difference between the two. That is exactly my understanding as well
