Mooney65E Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Back in November I promised competion photos of a panel I machined for a fellow Mooney owner in Iowa under a thread titled "'66 Panel overlay???" I've posted the before , during and after photos to my gallery. After parting with his partner in the aircraft due to medical reasons, he has gone ahead with the panel upgrade. He's decided to leave a few instruments in the "holding pattern " until he's able to afford the package he and his former financial backer had initially planned. I'm not sure who his mechanic was, but he did tell me he was quoted about $1K to do the entire job. That sounds pretty inexpensive for the amount of work he did. I did notice one item in the photo he overlooked which I'm sure he's already corrected. The ignition switch was rotated 180 degrees. Quote
scottfromiowa Posted January 29, 2010 Report Posted January 29, 2010 I am the "new panel" guy. Just signed up for the website. A user saw my MAC posting and gave me link to the...Mooney forum I have been looking for. I am very pleased with how the panel turned out. Many thanks to Hendricks Mfg. Quote
Gone Posted January 29, 2010 Report Posted January 29, 2010 Scott: Thanks for the pics of your panel. I think they may be the same as Lyle posted in his gallery under Mooney65E. Quote
