3" rudder pedal extentions

Does anyone have 3" rudder pedal extentions? The Mooney tech tells me that they use the same rudder pedals and just add brackets to move the pedals out farther. But it seems to me that this would cause the pedals to swing upwards when using the brakes because the pivot point is now 1 1/2 inches behind the back of the pedal. Any input is appreciated.

Thanks, I saw the thread but there was nothing about anyone actually using them. It would be great to hear from someone that has them installed.

I'm having mine removed at my annual inspection in February...not sure if they are 1.5 inch or 3 inch.

If you have the 3" extentions there would be a bracket on each side of the pedal. The 1 1/2" has only one bracket on the side of the brake actuator.
