Prebuy close to Little Rock

Any suggestions on a shop within an hours flight of Little Rock?

Don Maxwell at KGGG is only about an hour to hour and a half away (depending on wind and model of Mooney) from Little Rock as the Mooney flies.

call Cole in GA, be prepared to take the heat out of the situation, competent prebuy may not be doable at aircraft location, prebuy is at the expense of the buyer, if seller flies aircraft to prebuy location offer to reimburse him for the expense in case there is no deal, whoever does prebuy fixes discrepancies if the deal is closed and signs off an annual, plan to spend the amount of an annual on the prebuy no matter if the bird get bought or not, focus on showstoppers, first and foremost corrosion, the purchase is a big commitment, put commensurate effort into the prebuy, be prepared to walk if showstopper found, the journey is the destination, enjoy the ride

Yeh thx, Joey did a TOP on an Acclaim I just sold. Will definitely reach out to him. Boroscope will be key at this point.

I fly from VA to GA to get my oil changed there...should tell ya what I think of them..

That is wild!  Thank you. The local owner I spoke with almost seemed to indicate they aren't shy on having a scope increase on service work. I know that is a balancing act for everyone, so I'd love to hear more about your experiences as this would be my local shop.
