77J throttle refresh

Has anyone painted or found where I can get new plastic knobs for the lever style throttle quad? I’ve been able to find the vernier style but obviously that won’t work. If anyone has repainted them, what was the process that worked? I can’t seem to find any mention of parts anywhere for these style of Mooney throttle quadrants.

Are they cracked, or just discolored / degraded?

As these should be molded to color all the way through, you should be able to wet sand and restore if they aren't damaged too badly.  I would worry about paint just coming off again later.
