I'm excited to be coming back into the Mooney community but this time with a 96 Ovation with 280HP and 2500 RPM limit. 

I plan on flying some long trips, and if I could I trouble the braintrust here to help me out with some planning performance numbers I need to set up various ForeFlight profiles, or share what you guys use, I'd really appreciate it.

There are already Ovation profiles set up in Foreflight. You can set it up under Aircraft then type in M20 and just go with the basic Ovation (Non-STC)

I've seen them and selected one. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but none of the profiles give me any cruise TAS, fuel burn per hour, climb or descent speed/fuel burn or descent rates, hence the question.

I have an O2 cruise at 65% power burning 12.5 gph and a TAS of 164 kts at 8,000’. Descent fuel burn I leave the same because i usually don’t pull the power back fort decent. Are you freighter trash as well? Freight Dawgs Anonymous… order of the sleepless nights!

As far as climb goes, the poh is pretty accurate. At 9000 to 10000, i can usually plan for 175 knots at 13 gallons per hour and get better than that normally. I have no tks and no ac. Yesterday in the cooler temps i was seeing 181 ktas at 13gph, 10000ft, which was nice.

Thanks for the feedback. I was... I used to fly for Ameriflight 20-odd years ago. Fun times!
