My hangar neighbor has a Comanche 250. The web on his left landing gear strut is cracked. Can't find a new or salvage one. I anyone knows of a Comanche being parted out or the source for a left strut, drop me a line. Maybe @M20Docknows something or someone?

Thanks

They do exist out there. S and B Industries used to repair them but Bruce passed on.   Has he checked with Matt Kurke at www.comanchegear.com. Also the Australian Comanche tribe has a machined from billet version available, but it’s big dollars.

Have your buddy drop me a line and I’ll see what I can do to help him

Thanks for the swift reply Clarence. Yeah the Australian one is out of production. They are supposedly setting up for US production, but no word on when that will happen. Commanchegear.com has not had one in months. I will pass your info on to him. He is desperate as he is grounded.

Your friend might try giving Bill Turley of Aircraft Engineering a call at (863) 533-1870. He is known to be a Comanche expert in Florida, located at Bartow Airport.

Thanks! I will pass that on to him.

Yes, tried them all. Apparently there are many versions of the part and not all are interchangeable.
