I did some research and found the 1964 M20E models still registered in a continuous block around my serial number.  Serial numbers 310, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315 & 316 are all still registered serial number 317’s registration has expired in March of this year.  Also the last digit of tail number matches the last digit of the SN.

How many 1964 M20E model owners do we have on the board?

Unfortunately 6943U SN 313 is no longer.  Hurricane Isaac flooded it last year.

:(

I was thinking I saw you in an F last year.

Yes that was not long after I bought it. :)   I have been enjoying it.  I flew about 11 hours since last Thursday in rain and clear.

I've been debating on changing my login name.

I have #540 - she is registered as a 1964 but is actually a 1965 model.  Guessing Mooney rolled out models ahead of calendar years like the car companies.

I'm curious, does yours have square or rounded windows? I suspect those registered as 1964 all have rounded windows and 1965 all have square windows.....but I'm not sure.

I have SN: 399 and it is doing good. It is now N757DL rumor has it a Delta Airlines Captain owned it before me. I bet you can't guess what aircraft he flew.

The '65 models are the best. Lol

Note so sure... ^_^   When did the independently retracting foot step feature go away?  I like having it - poor man's speed brakes...

Das ist gut. wunderbar! Wo in Deutschland sind Sie?

I live in Munich. The airplane is based in Augsburg. So I have a good 45min drive :-( Germany is not very GA friendly and it not trivial to find "airports" and hangar space. But at least I can fly IFR approaches there ;-)
