carusoam Posted January 10, 2021 Report Posted January 10, 2021 The Acclaim surely is the most awesome of all Mooneys... There is an Ovation nearing completion at the factory... If the Ovation fit the mission... that would be good... If the it has to be an Acclaim... there are two important pieces of hardware that would need to be swapped in... 1) The big chunk of hardware mounted on the nose... the TN’d IO550... 2) The tiny nameplate that gets riveted to the skin under the horizontal stabilizer... (the family of SNs are different for U vs. V) Since this big beautiful bird hasn’t been painted yet... it could technically be an option... The factory mentioned recently, that TKS and AC are still options for this bird... Ask for Jonny or DavidV around here... they can set up the proper conversation for you... PP guess only...
