Pre-Buy in Albuquerque

I am looking a purchasing a M20J in Albuquerque and need a pre-buy inspection done by an A&P that knows Mooneys. I am hoping someone can make a recommendation.

Normally, I would love to, but I’m up to my eyeballs in engine overhaul. I don’t have a plane, I could fly Brice’s awesome 310, but my flight review expired a couple of days ago and I don’t have a plane to do it in. I have a feeling my flight review is going to be in a twin.

Welcome. I’m in California but I fly out to the abq whenever possible. They do a good job mixing airlines and small planes there. Great place to fly and not as congested as here.

There is no Mooney Service Center in New Mexico. Aero Services at Santa Fe has worked on many Mooneys including mine and would be good for a pre-purchase inspection. Second choice would be Bode at Double Eagle.

Visited Santa Fe frequently the last several years.

Used Aero Services for an avionics issue, they were very professional with good knowledge

Also used Steve at Skyland also in Santa Fe. Very good mechanic

 

Id recommend either one of these companies in Santa Fe
