I’ve just taken delivery of my rebuilt TSIO-360-MB engine upgraded to a -SB.  The work was done by LyCon in Visalia California. Now, I would like to get new engine baffling but kits are not available and buying the individual parts would add up tp $8-9k. Where can I find some good used baffling?  Can someone copy my baffling and made new?  Thanks.

Had you seen the new baffling kits built by @GEE-BEE?

If they cost that much... GB would be on a island enjoying life... not answering phones...

There are a few threads around here describing his products with pics of Mooneys all dolled up in nice baffles...

I have no idea about the price for K baffles...

Best regards,

Are you looking for the sheet metal baffles?  I looked at Airforms of Alaska, they don’t list the K model, might be worth a call to them to see if they can help.  Other than that you’ll have to rebuild/repair your old ones.

I talked to them in person yesterday, they had a booth at the maintenance event.

They only have J baffling in their catalog. They have PMA for B, C and D baffling, but quit selling it because it never fit right.

They said they will make the early baffling if the buyer agrees to no returns and understands that it will probably need some rework.

She said the baffling is all the same but the Mooneys are all different.
