Does anyone have experience with the inner gear doors?  My mechanic that I’m using for my annual is concerned that they aren’t flush with the wing in the rear. I’m bot sure who made them or where to find the install manual to confirm.

They're hard to get adjusted just right, so I think many are like that to some degree or other.   You can see that on the right side mine don't fit quite flush in the rear, neither does the gear door.   On the other side they're both flush against the airplane.

Those are the old modworks gear doors. Lasar sells them.  The older ones are real woven Fiberglass and epoxy while the new ones are chopped strand mat and polyester resin. Very flexible. I made molds of them and made some in carbon fiber.

A small gap at the rear is no consequence but the forward edge of the door must be tight.

I had the square standoffs on one side and the U-shaped style on the other side. The U-shaped bracket wont allow the door to bolt up flush, and when you do bolt it up, the rear of the door is 1/2" off the wing, with no washers between it and the gear door.  The square style are about 1/2" square, while the U-shaped thing goes 3/4" away from the bolt hole. Its too far. I had to source some used square style gear door standoffs.
