CB avionics pirep - should one use dual ipads in flight?

I've gone from KICT to KVNY (1400 sm) with just 1 com/vor , a pencil and plotter and a Sectional, 

just by looking out the window.

What could be simpler? 

iPads? iPads? We don't need no stinkin' iPads!  :-)
