RobertGary1 Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 Premium car gas being $3.50, $4.50 for avgas doesn’t really seem too bad. -Robert Quote

carusoam Posted December 22, 2018 Report Posted December 22, 2018 We had a Mooney fly-in at the Central Jersey Airport.... (a couple of years back) It is usually the lowest cost fuel in the area, and the pizza and pasta are pretty good too... Apparently, the airport management finds having low cost fuel supports his business and his customers... Lance, I need to work on my picture editing skills... it took a few tries to circle the data. Browncbr1 Posted December 23, 2018 Report Posted December 23, 2018 (edited) 100LL is starting to drop in East TN. TYS just went from 5.20 to 4.77... MNV went from 4.25 to 3.50. More fields will be dropping in the next week or two. Edited December 23, 2018 by Browncbr1 Quote

My home field is still $3.89 for 100LL, but I get $.25 discount for basing there. Quote
RLCarter Posted December 24, 2018 Report Posted December 24, 2018 Transportation cost & quantity purchased by the FBO plays into the equation, we're at $4.10 for 100LL ($3.90) with my discount. Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted December 24, 2018 Report Posted December 24, 2018 Rough days for Montana oil producers. Phillips 66 is paying $1.87/barrel from Central MT. https://crudeoilpostings.phillips66.com/psxpdf/Dec-2018.pdf 1 Quote

carusoam Posted December 25, 2018 Report Posted December 25, 2018 West Texas Intermediary WTI, continued its drop earlier today... This is a one year chart. Today’s drop was 6+%. -a- Quote
Releew Posted December 27, 2018 Report Posted December 27, 2018 I can remember 100LL was generally speaking about $1.00 more than 93 Octane Premium in the 80's and 90's. Is it fair to say there is less general aviation interest, lowering the usage, thus changing the refining priority? I see such a decrease in South Louisiana in GA its concerning. Airports that had several aircraft on the ramp are now down to few. Hope GA picks up in this area...... Rick 1 Quote

Small airports are selling 100ll for around $5/gal and premium gas is running around $3.90/gal. -Robert Quote
Releew Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 In my neck of the woods, premium goes for $2.75/gallon. We have been running $4.25-$4.50 for 100LL Rick Quote
carusoam Posted January 4, 2019 Report Posted January 4, 2019 WTI has come up off the floor... $42 in that last graph, is now around $47 today... below 50 is considered unstable and hard to hold down... Enjoy the low 100LL prices as they come through. Best regards, -a- Quote
