No vacuum pump in the G1000 Mooneys. Richard Collins article on the Ovation GX back in 2005 highlighted that there was no vacuum pump in G1000 Mooneys.

Clarence The early G1000's (early 2000's ) in the Cessnas actually hide a full blow turn coordinator to power to KAP 140 autopilot before Garmin's autopilot was certified with the G1000. If you remove the PFD you see a full turn coordinator. Flying the G1000 with the KAP 140 was a royal pain because the integration was poor. So much better with the Garmin autopilot. -Robert
