Mainly because there is only one yoke in my airplane Secondarily because I would rather have all the information on the screens in front of me rather than way over on the right like they did with the Cessna. Finally, I rarely have another pilot in the right seat anyway so what's the point in having that data not easily accessible to me and of no value to an empty seat or passenger ? Yetti Posted May 21, 2019 Report Posted May 21, 2019 So it seems like the entry price is about $13K without Installation. 9ish K for basic components and 4K for the STC Quote
Jesse Saint Posted May 22, 2019 Report Posted May 22, 2019 The basic installation of $13k worth of equipment would not even be close to $9k in my shop. Dynon estimates $9-15k for installation of the full package, which is a reasonable estimate. I will be starting my first V35 install this week or next week. Looking forward to doing more certified birds now that I’m a Dynon Certified installer. Hopefully Mooney’s aren’t too far down the road. 1 Quote
KLRDMD Posted May 22, 2019 Report Posted May 22, 2019 I can get a slot in October if I want to book it with my closest Dynon Certified installer. I'm seriously considering it. Fortunately, I have a nice P210 I can fly when my airplane is in maintenance. Quote
carusoam Posted May 22, 2019 Report Posted May 22, 2019 Jesse, I hope you like making videos... Some of the coolest videos we have of installed equipment are done by guys like you who know how all this stuff gets installed and operated... Thanks for sharing... Best regards, -a- Quote

(also I never thought about the 1 yoke thing) Quote
Jesse Saint Posted May 22, 2019 Report Posted May 22, 2019 The only required components of the Skyview system are the main display, ADAHRS, mag etometer, backup battery, GPS receiver, D10A backup display and battery for backup display. The STC, of course, is required. Ads-b in, ads-b out, engine monitor, autopilot, Com radio, knob panel, AP Panel and second main display are all optional. Quote
