My main mission with be flights of 300-600 NM to visit family. I would like to be able to fly myself to work and back eventually, which is closer to 1000 NM. I realize that is down the road, would require IFR, and flexibility etc.. I am trying to get as much first hand experience with and in the various airplanes that I am interested in owning or partnering in, and the Mooney M20 is one of them. I am located in western Ky between Murray (KCEY) and Hopkinsville (KHVC). I would like the opportunity to fly in one of these planes. I'll gladly buy lunch and fuel. Thanks in advance. neilpilot Posted July 21, 2017 Report Posted July 21, 2017 In April several Mooneys from W TN flew up to Kentucky Dam State Park. See the thread below. Some of us might fly up on 8/21, Eclipse day. I might be able to take you up for a short flight that morning in exchange for transportation (only) to/from Patti's before the eclipse. You can PM me.
