Her First Time - Mooney Flying on July 4

My wife brought her friend along on our flight to Quakertown for the July 4th pilot BBQ. It was her first time up in a GA plane so we did a diversion to do some sightseeing in the NYC area first. Over the VZ, up the Hudson, past downtown. There was a Yankees TFR so at the intrepid I turned direct Teterboro and then direct Quakertown. I know that hanger.  I was looking for Pankey in the video (she may have been the one at the grill).  I think I caught a glimpse of Brian (but he can be so shy and retiring - NOT!!)

I have crossed the Verrazano many times on my way to Caldwell airport when I lived in B'klyn. Only difference between now and back then is I paid $1.00 each way. I read recently that it's going up to $20 (r/t) next year. Ouch!
