Robert C. Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 #1, flew my first mission for PALS, Patient Airlift Services http://www.palservices.org/ I was the 2nd leg for a lady returning home to Northern Maine from Philadelphia after chemotherapy at a specialized cancer clinic. What a trooper, and what a privilege to use our gifts and resources to give back in this way. PALS is Northeast US oriented but there are other organizations as well that you can get involved in, check them out! #2, we're in and out of broken layered clouds NE of Boston (i.e. not too far from Portsmouth). Boston controllers sounded more tense than usual. Boston Appr: Compassion 6PC turn left 60 degrees for departing traffic me: left 60 degr 6PC just finished my turn Boston Appr: Compassion 6PC turn right 120 degr me: right 120 6PC as I roll out on new heading Boston Appr: Compassion 6PC traffic 4 miles, 10 o'clock, 2 ship, Boeing 747 and a F-35 me: negative contact, looking Boston Appr: Air Force 1 turn right 30 degr My passenger had followed enough of the conversation that we simultaneously looked at each other and grinned. Not every day you get to share airspace with the Prez. Sadly, we never saw them with all the crud we were plowing through. 2 Quote

1964-M20E Posted September 26, 2016 Report Posted September 26, 2016 Not bad I did have the pleasure about 2 years ago to have 2 F-35s fly off my left wing in opposite direction minus AF 1 Quote
