Good Afternoon,

The wife and I are flying into New Kent, VA (w96) for a wedding about 6 miles away.   No courtesy car or transportation  at the airport.  Anyone from that area with a suggestion?

Have you tried the Uber yet?

Some people are reporting how good their Uber experience has been.

Best regards,

I have not.  Worth considering.  Thanks

To far from the nearest Enterprise location for them to drop a car?

I'm checking but it's pretty far out.

I based my first Mooney there in the late '90s, it is a great little airport with NOTHING there except a runway and fuel.  Even just driving there is a circuitous pain.

If Uber won't go there, KRIC is 10 minutes away.  Depending on where the wedding is, it might even be a shorter timed-drive from KRIC.

Edit: No, seriously, it is a weird, winding drive to get to that airport- you'll be expecting "Deliverance" music around every corner.

I'll be sure and bring my gun. :)

Never used Uber But how about a regular taxi service.  1395W you just described my home county and this is in Northern CA and you do here the deliverance tune from time to time.  Take the show Northern exposure and mash it together with Dukes of Hazard. Some trips we just call a taxi service before and let them know about when and they are right there when we arrive
