JaredDavis Posted March 17, 2016 Report Posted March 17, 2016 (edited) Hi, Does anyone know the part number of this clamp on a 65C? It is near the flap pump. Sorry about the blurry photo. Edited March 17, 2016 by JaredDavis Quote
RLCarter Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 I have the parts manual...get a little more detail as far what line is that, under the belly, left or right of center? Maybe even a photo zoomed out, now that we know what the clamp looks like Quote
Andy95W Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 Those are very old clamps that used to be standard AN parts. I've never been able to find a part number for them. My guess is they were superseded by a later variant and no longer produced. Thats a shame, because they are really very handy. You don't really need that exact part. You can fabricate a means of mounting a standard, modern production adel clamp (MS21919). Oftentimes the only thing those old clamps really need is new padding as the old foam padding deteriorates. Gluing a piece of burn proof foam, or heavy felt, or leather in place of the old foam works well. Quote
JaredDavis Posted March 18, 2016 Author Report Posted March 18, 2016 Thanks Andy. I wanted to try a search for NOS before we go the modification route. This is located beneath the co-pilots seat near the flap pump. I could not find the clamp in the IPC. Quote
carusoam Posted March 18, 2016 Report Posted March 18, 2016 There are a few things I changed out of my C, just because they rusted, disintegrated or rotted... Look for the modern alternative. Best regards, -a- Quote
