Qwalton Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 The fuel pump on my '65 C model just crapped out on me. The mechanic has been quoted $1100 to replace it which seems to both of us to be a rather large number. Has anyone had any experience replacing the fuel pump on this engine (O-360-A1D)? Are there any after-market pumps that are available that would be a suitable replacement? Thanks for any insight. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 I think Lake Aero Styling can overhaul them. Quote
rdv Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 I was quoted about $600 cdn to overhaul. How old was your pump when it failed? Quote
MooneyMitch Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 Quinn. If this is the electric boost pump you are speaking of, check George's Electrical in Sacramento [Google them]. Great service and fast too. I do recall the price was very reasonable. He has done ton's of these including Jolie's. Hope this helps you. Quote
