kmyfm20s Posted March 19, 2015 Report Posted March 19, 2015 I have a Screaming Eagle with the 310hp STC. While it does come with some power settings the performance chart are limited. If anyone has a electronic copy of their O3 POH and wouldn't mind sharing I would appreciate a copy. Thank you. Quote
Jeff_S Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Here's an Ovation 2 AFM that I use when I need to check something quickly. The primary performance difference is going to be on takeoff, as that's about the only place you would use the extra 200 RPMs that the 310hp gives you. So if anything these charts are going to be just a tad conservative. m20rAFM.pdf Quote
Robert C. Posted March 22, 2015 Report Posted March 22, 2015 Here is the STC information for the upgrade. Enjoy your Eagle Robert Ovation3 STC.pdf Quote
kmyfm20s Posted March 23, 2015 Author Report Posted March 23, 2015 Thanks guys! I have refered to both the O2 POH and the STC. I was just hoping to get something more comprehensive that the factory put together for the O3. Quote
Robert C. Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Afraid i can't help you with that. Mine was converted to O3 at the time of sale to the original owner so I have the O2 POH with the STC. You may need to wait for a 2008 O3 owner to check in here but it wouldn't surprise me if Mooney even then just bundled the older POH with the STC. To double check that you could lob in a quick call to the factory and see if they have O3 manuals for sale. Even if you don't want to shell out the $$ then at least you know if it exists. Jeff_S Posted March 24, 2015 Report Posted March 24, 2015 Robert is correct. Mine is a factory O3 but the paperwork for the upgrade is still all governed by the STC. So when you look at my POH, you see essentially the same document that I uploaded, with the supplemental sections that Robert provided. Back then they were still producing both O2s and O3s so this made sense. Quote
kmyfm20s Posted March 24, 2015 Author Report Posted March 24, 2015 That interestingly! Thanks for the help and the downloads. Quote
