Hanger or tied down in Dallas ?

I have a friend who recently moved to Dallas and is looking for a hanger or tiedown. What is the going rate for hanger or tiedown? He has been a couple of hangers down from me paying $65 month and is going through shock at the $500 he has been asked.

Tell him to try RBD, if he is gong to live anywhere close.  I think Ambassador is charging about $280. Mine is a little cheaper, but I have been here for 14 years.

Too much risk of hail damage too? to leave outdoors in that neighborhood ...

Thanks for the replies, I'll pass the RBD suggestion along to him.  The problem is this is a C150 that is worth around 18K.  Spending 6K year on hanger doesn't make a lot of sense in his situation.

When I had an old 172, I kept it on a tie down.  It was hard on the plane.  I would have much preferred to keep it inside, but it didn't make economic sense.  I put a cover on it and paid for insurance in case of a hail storm.
