OR75 Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 I am thinking you are looking at the plastic hemisphere that keeps yellowing and cracking An expensive and cheaply made Mooney part number 202816 You will keep throwing good money after bad as the plastic will yellow very quickly. If I were you, I would use the Wheelen STC to convert those to the A650 (that uses the long elongated glass you already have) Quote
orionflt Posted November 22, 2014 Report Posted November 22, 2014 took a look and what we have is glass, sorry I can't help Brian Quote

Yetti Posted November 30, 2014 Report Posted November 30, 2014 If you wanted to make your owner supplied parts, there is a casting method for plastic taillights. http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=16653.0 Looks like Smooth-on would be your supplier as the alumilite link did not work. http://www.smooth-on.com/ Could also be a source for mixture knobs when they give up the ghost. jetdriven Posted December 24, 2014 Report Posted December 24, 2014 I have the same Hoskins stobe on the left wing. That yellowing plastic cover had to go, and I replaced it with a Grimes clear tail nav light glass. Drops right in and its glass, never yellows. My A&P had a whole coffee can of old lenses. Try that.
