I'd be happy to share the numbers for my 66 C model, but because of all the speed mods done to my airplane, they may not be good numbers for you to flight plan with.

I would like to see your numbers and also , which mods and how much speed gain. I'm contemplating moding her up and looking for the most "bang for the buck".

I like Sabremech's numbers.

On CSC DUATS, I subscribe to the keep it simple theory for my flight planning:

CLIMB: 110 ktas, 11 GPH

CRUISE: 145 ktas, 9.8 gph

DESCENT: 155 ktas, 9.0 gph

On a normal 1-2 hour flight at about 7,000 feet, it is accurate to within 5 minutes and 1 gal.

Thanks Andy.

We are about to get her back in the air. It had been sitting in a hanger, and the last annual was in 2003. We bought her July 2013 and have been revealing tanks, installing newer avionics, and general fix up/ maint stuff. Other than the ferry flight home last Nov she has been inactive. I owned an M20B 20 years ago, and my first corp flying job was in a M20J/ Missle conversion. I'm not new to Mooney's, just don't have the memory I once had.

I appreciate all the info everyone has been able to give.

Jim
