It may help if you have the two part numbers...?

FT101 is possibly the display and the in line sensor may have it's own name?

Where are you located?

Trying to help,

It depends how fast you need it. I am going to get a engine monitor with the fuel so I could have one from my plane. It's FT101 but I don't know what kind of sensor it has. I should know by the end of the week.

I am located in Germany but current on vacation in Florida.

I do not have the parts #, but my POH says it is the FT101! So what I need is the display and the fuel flow transducer.

MooneyBob, I will leave Florida by the end of next week (21st). Please drop a PM when you know when yours is available!

Would that be the TOMATOFLAMES one Byron?

Yeah I think so. You should be able to placard it inop and roll on.

It is not required as well in Germany, I could leave it inop. But I want to have a complete Mooney!

You must realize by now that no Mooney is ever 'complete'. ;)

Good luck with your fuel gauge.

In that case...

Updates from JPI, EI and Insight make nice engine monitors and FF indicators in one panel mounted device and communicate those details to the GPS...

Data download requires a memory stick, not the whole laptop... One day, wifi.....?

Giving your Mooney the ability to determine its km/liter or distance until empty.... While you twist the red knob.

FF remains important to the modern pilot. The added connectivity is modern in the new millennium kind of way!

Of course the FT101 is still needed to fill the spot. Nobody likes the inop labels.

Take a look at your panel to see if one of the monitors fits where the FT101 is???

Thinking out loud and best regards,

I already bought a JPI EDM 730, is it at home in my stash together with a GNS 530, a GNS 430, a GTX 330 and a GMA 340. Those avionics will be installed in March/April and lead to a nice upgrade of my Mooney!!!

Anyway the FT 101 will fill the spot, current there is a weird looking strap of duck tape :-(
