  1. specifically what bushing you looking for? Check with LASAR they should be able to supply all needed bushings.
  2. I had a crank that the shop rejected because of corrosion. I would clean it up and keep it coated with corrosion X but check with your mechanic
  3. maybe a prop that is lighter to help offset
  4. the information from a while back had it fitting in the same foot print of the io360
  5. I'd take the 180HP version since it is turbo charged and super charged you get the 180HP full time. If the price point is reasonable and we can get it for the Mooney I think I'd be in.
  6. years ago for my E model I ordered a general cable that had the push button lock and pulled the old cable out slid the new cable in cut to desired length and went on my merry way.
  7. measure the diameter and just order full length of hose in each size. Not much more than that. I'm not sure if anyone has specific lengths for specific hoses.
  8. How do you do the stripes and numbers?
  9. The other day one of our executive assistants had a dress on that matched your Mooney. I'm not sure who inspired who. I showed her a pic of the Mooney and she loved it.
  10. I have one from a 65E model
  11. We talked at SnF I just realized it was you.
  12. saw it too impressive
  13. save me a spot I'll be getting there tomorrow about 1130. Late response you are there already. be prepared to walk if you don't get into Vintage.
  14. I looked to see if anyone started a thread about who is attending SnF 2023 but didn't see one. I plan on arriving Thursday. Who else is going?
  15. I plan on arriving Thursday
  16. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person at SnF
  17. It's been years since I stayed there over night or even landed there. I can't remember if they had a tie down fee or not. It was one night and I bought fuel so. Going there for Cajun Mardi Gras?
  18. Santa has a tail dragging Mooney.
  19. It is a steel weight inside of a lead casting. A magnet should do the trick, or depending on the paint you could possibly see the steel insert.
  20. Haven't actually used the one you asked about but I do have one. I like these better but they are more $$.
  21. If anyone is in real need for the counter weights. I have a set of elevators and rudder from a 65 E model with solid weights. PM with an offer
  22. No it does not need to be the only file on the jump drive. I have not yet run across this issue. Did you try a second time after powering down the 540? Usually after it queries the drive it brings up a screen then you select the database to update and press proceed. Sometimes it takes a minute to figure out how to tell it to proceed but far easier than the KLN94. I guess the file on the drive could be corrupt. Oh as far as the latest software upstate from Avidyne for the 540 wait a while if you haven't done it. Somehow they forgot to put in the feature that remembers the last com frequency used. The standby frequency stays on the last frequency, but not the active one.
  23. No by landing there, he is just stating the he is flying a Robinson 22.
  24. We have had some here boast bout their long range, long duration flights. Well what was your shortest flight? Flying home from KORL yesterday we encountered IFR conditions in New Orleans, 6sm, 008 OVC, and could not make it another 3 miles to LS40. Well it was all that IFR, special VFR FAA stuff. I could see LS40. I had to land at MSY. So today when the VFR window opened up I moved the plane from MSY to LS4 all of 2 minutes on Flight aware. How do you log 2 minutes??
