  3. Mine's like that as well
  4. Check to make sure the calipers are traveling with brake application ??
  5. Bleed the line to the gauge????
  6. Multi visc may have merit during extreme cold but as I see it that would be the only advantage. Synthetics give the same flow properties of multi visc plus "added protection for extended oil drains which was more a byproduct of cleaner burning engines and fuels not something that really applies to us Straight weight oil is protective, less expensive and serves its purpose for cooling and suspending contamanents until we drain it at 50 hours or sooner.
  7. And this awesome forum gives us the opportunity to change our names to do just that!
  8. LOL - I was putting the yoke cover on the same time I took the picture... that step on the top required a little bit of stickum for the leather to lay right - the clamps were just there to hold it till it set....
  9. I bought the basic Ipad Mini mount but then bought a double ball and additional "leg" It gives a lot more flexibility in positioning.
  10. I washed mine (belly and all) followed by Meguiar’s cleaner wax to remove the oxidation and then Meguiar’s Deep Crystal. The paint job is 7 years old. For belly grime go to the dollar store and get Ala's Totally Awesome.

    What an awesome shot!!
  13. There is one other way to save on the wear, but I find props to be much more expensive.....
  14. I've got one of each flavor so at some prior point the left wing was converted and the right remained stock. About a two months ago mine started a very slow drip, I only noticed the blue ring on the cement below the sump, and a little bit of moisture on the sump itself. My A&P says its not a real bad fix, just the pain of breaking the inspection covers. The original drain gets drilled out, a nut base gets installed complete with tank sealant etc. My sump quit acting up, but I'll be doing the conversion at the next annual. For the record, I did the enclosure, I lucked out with a good paint match and a lot of waxing HOWEVER - that interior is looking a little shabby
  15. Don - good idea. Right side finished product - the left side is in progress.
  16. Looks good - the only thing I would suggest is that you put a bumper on it so the valves are protected... I've seen one of them broken off on a scuba tank - went through the passenger door on a parked car and lodged in the drivers door.
  17. I quick grabbed a fresh cup of coffee before I opened the thread - imagine my disappointment when I didn't find any glazed doughnuts..... Update us on the difference in taxi and landing.....
  18. Thought I'd give it a try - Tandy Leather, total spent $35.00 First layer of tape wrapped sticky side out - second layer sticky side in Cut tape off of the yoke, tape it in place on the leather and cut out the pattern Punch holes along the perimeter and start to sew it on....
  19. What Gary said.....!! 'cept I round it up 100
  20. I use 1700 - do the mags and then go to 2000 to cycle the prop.
  21. Put it in the luggage area if its a dry chemical...... believe me you won't want to discharge it in the cabin.
