  1. Dave - great info - the one thing I would do in the "way too high" would be a circle down to a better approach altitude - of course that would be tough to practice unless you knew you were alone in the pattern. Your experiments at standard and half standard would give a great quick calculation 360 at standard and 360 at half - Now that mine is back from the interior I have a mission for my back in the saddle flight
  2. I'll give you 20!!!
  3. I really like the ipad mini for the greater variety of mount options.

  7. The seat frames are fixed, the foam is built up and I got to do a test sit - I have memory foam sandwiched in the seat and the back - Head rests are made and some of the leather work is done for the rear seat. About half of the plastic is wrapped. Got promises for next week - can't wait
  8. Not to make light of the tragedy, but I'm reading all about the airport glide slope being turned off being a possible cause - pretty sure the professionals knew that prior to taking off... I hate the if it bleeds it leads mentality of the press nowadays.
  9. Joy Bowden at Texas Taildraggers right there on the field.
  10. I'm thinking crop circles..... oooooooeeeeeeeeoooooooooo
  11. Byron - have you checked out Murrmur at southwest ?
  12. Hank are you looking for a picture of the plastic piece or the aluminum venting?
  13. No I'll keep the split rear window. Just replaced all the plexiglas a little over a year ago.
  14. A change in any normal condition is a signal to find a root cause. Not a will fix. Making it work better by adjusting out the change will only mask the issue and may eventually be hazardous.
  15. Looking at all of the beautiful interiors here on the site just pushed me over the edge. 40M will be getting all the trimmings - and a custom embroidery on the head rests from the good folks at Aero Plus. I'll post the transformation in a couple weeks.
