  1. I ran into this podcast and thought I would share it here. Bruce Landsberg is the current vice chairman of the NTSB and used to be the executive director of the AOPA Safety Institute.

  7. This week at my job a coworker headlamp battery pop while he was using it, left a third degree burn right on his forehead. If batteries are acting funny, not charging, charging to fast or any weird signs just tossed them out.
  8. Congratulations on the purchase and enjoy the ride.
  9. I think the people talking to you made an assumption because the adsb information further up shows the plane taxing somewhere else on the field and not the Mooney factory. It will take time for the information and reason for the crash to come out but it will, but so far the adsb does not lie. Let’s try to be respectful.
  10. Congratulations can’t wait for more pictures.
  11. This is more of a global issue, I work for a major and we are having supply issues I can’t even imagine the difficulties they are having keeping the lights on as it is, they probably can’t cover the amount of people it would take to have people taking calls and research parts for owners. Maybe in the future but not now.
  12. I second the leave it to the professionals if you can mentally.
  13. The pilot gave an interview to fox 8 news I think NC and he explains what happened https://myfox8.com/news/north-carolina/greensboro/greensboro-man-crashes-plane-in-new-jersey/ I am still learning and I am wondering what the think tank thinks.
  14. This is how I learned about It, listening to him tell the story was a little surreal and the pictures are worth more than words. I got my co2 sensor for flight training right after. FYI if I remember right it also happen to a Comanche pilot many years ago and he also survived.
  15. Congratulations on the milestone and keep going.
  16. Congratulations on the purchase, enjoy the journey.

Foot notes but do listen to the interview if you have the time - Faa requiring not so much more testing but proof that all the require testing is up to snuff (CYA737maxprocedure) -If it runs 100LL it will run 100UL.
