  1. She barely flies with me. We're good. When she notices, I'll be like "oh, that? I've had it for a while" Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. I just talked with my avionics guy. He's doing my annual this month. Called asking about my AI leaning. Ended up talking me into an Aspen. Not gona tell my wife. I'll wait to see how many flights it takes her to notice. Lol. I asked him point blank how the TT integration is coming. Said he spoke with aspen last week and the heading/barro is working between aspen and TT on their bench. Guessing it will be live by Oshkosh. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. I replied to Jimmy when I got his listing email. If it had fiki I’d write you a check no questions asked. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. I did a practice ILS 24L coming home this morning into KDAY. Flew it heads up wanting to see how things went with 2 pumps, takeoff flaps. Flew the ILS perfectly at 90mias. Didnt feel like I was dragging it in at all. So glad I asked you all. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. I love having my own plane but with my 1 or 2 times a week usage it seems dumb to own it alone. I'd love 1 or 2 more partners. Not sure if I'd want 3 more? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. Also a good point. I noticed on one of my go arounds how much forward pressure I had to keep on the yoke to maintain correct attitude. I actually thought to myself if the seat failed and slid back right now we would be going into a departure stall. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. I did comment to mt CFII yesterday that one of them where I had full flaps out at FAF fealt like I was "dragging it in". I'll try TO flaps and add more one I "break out". Seems power, positive rate, gear, flaps seems to be the best sequence. 100 on my white arc is mph. I'll see how she flies at 90 next lesson. Thanks y'all Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. Just an outsider with no dog in the fight. Let's say you're used to selling uncertified products. Certification is super expensive. Unless the owner is independently wealthy, where does the cash for certification come from? Thinking outloud, Hmm. I've got all these shares of equity. Maybe I'll sell a few to a strategic partner who has a dealer network and legacy products that are likely a money tree. I can see that happening pretty easily. My business is blessed to be self funding our 35% annual growth. Not many can. That could be a way. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. I had been dropping gear and adding full flaps at or just before FAF. Flies a perfect stabilized approach at 100 indicated that way. Havnt considered half flaps tbh. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. I did 6 practice approaches yesterday 5 of them missed. A couple times I noticed I was close to 120 indicated before I brought my flaps up. My white arc tops at 100. Made me wonder if my missed process is off. I had been bringing in the gear, adding power, raising the nose, opening the flap valve, retrim as needed. Do I need to move the flap sequence closer to the start? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. Or do they already have an equity stake in trutrac? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. I'll be going up again tomorrow for another instrument lesson. Trying to get ready for the checkride. Should be another 2-2.5 hrs. Will report back. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  13. My E came from EBay. If i had the same lame initial purchase budget, I'd do it again. If i knew better I would have spent more upfront and let the prior owner pay for my upgrades. Lol. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  14. Electric fuel pump went down and kept me grounded almost 2 weeks. Went back up Wednesday last week for 2:08. JPI said I used 18.0 gal. They topped me off so I can fly again tomorrow and said it actually used 16.8 gals. Other than being happy with ~8 gal per hr, what else does this tell us? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  15. Love the beard. Looks like one of my inside sales guys.... said he was going for the yeard. No shaving for whole year. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  16. I found an older thread saying yes. https://mooneyspace.com/topic/1082-seat-upgrade-for-m20e/ Gonna get the ones just popped up here and see how it goes. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  17. Between our lawn app business over selling our sales goal this spring and trying to get my wife knocked up, i haven't had much time to pay attention. Sorry, cant help with that. Just sitting on the sidelines waiting for an announcement eventually. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  18. Believe the answer is yes but wanted to ask. Will J seats fit in my E? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  19. If these will fit in my E, I'll take them. Ps, sent you and email so we can work out payment and shipping. Jason Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  20. I'm on the patio near the fire pit Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  21. one too many long necks tonight Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  22. Not the whole fleet, just the jets. Bug smashing chute pullers are still good to go. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  23. At this rate the gfc500 will be available in short bodies nearly the same time as the Trutrac. At that point, the choices get harder. TT had the timeline advantage but that's quickly slipping away. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  24. I heard the same thing. Was going to order an Aspen for my May annual but am going to wait for the TT integration before I buy. Likely both for my next May annual. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  25. What's the investment? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
