  2. I really meant to say there was something approx in our size with more capacity. but even at 1c rate which if i remember correctly would be 100,70 or 42a should still start my birdy. I'd be there is something there with less ah and more amperage available

  8. Before i lost my samsung s8+ i preferred the android version to apple. my experience, downloads work better and the samsung screen is WAY better. True it lags behind the apple version but not by much and really none of the features i actually use.

BUT i'm sure the bulk is just "Plane" 8) ol capitalism. this is actually one of the reasons i'm not comfortable with gami GUL100 until there are competitors. you know it doesn't cost 5+ dollars more per gallon to get gas into kNEW as iKSGR, it's just profit.

  15. I originall had an mx170b as navcom 2 in birdy but during maintenance an A&P lost the locking screw and pall causing the radio to slide in and out of the stack freely. I replaced the locking pall and next avionics installation, they lost it again, sigh. unfortunately this caused an issue with the radio causing it to be intermittent. replaced with a kx170b i had laying around, all good. well i want my fliip flop back, i know it's minor but it really annoys me. so, i can buy a working mx170c for approx 2500$, slide it in, done. or garmin gnc255a with 8.33 which i will need 10 years down the road( i plan on hopping across the pond when i retire ) $$$ due to installation but as i now have g5s and a spare md200 indicator no other parts are needed to purchase or i can get a second gpss comm in a gnc355, $$$$, probably about the same install cost as the gnc255a except they want to put ANOTHER gpss wart on my plane, i already have 2, pretty soon the lane will look like it has measles

  21. why do you bother to amend ? i just accept what is sent back via gp. 50% of the time i get exactly that other 50% I get alphabet soup. seriously some days i think they roll the dice every 15 mins to see where to send me next 8). also i'm a bit spoiled as i have gns480 which is much improved over 430 for entering flight plans. wish i was totally spoiled by being able to transfer via tablet
  22. read the latest instructions, there is a n option to run power from the hot side of the master relay. you don't have to run a wire all the way to the batter, if you don't want.
  23. for the price of the 650 and install i'd just buy 2 avidynes, also once you have a new navigator and the 2nd 275, why bother with the 660, you already have the tablet
  24. another thought, when we go to war with another major power, the first thing they are taking out are supply lines and refineries, with an ev i might still be driving while everyone else walks
