  1. I'd still like to fit an electric valve, I think you could make one of mountain high's valve work but they're $1600 so it's a bit much to just buy to experiment with, but it'd solve the issue once and for all.
  2. Obama didn't try, so I'm not sure what he has to do with any of it. Democrats have never supported this. They've just dusted of schuster's bill from last summer. None of this is particularly groundbreaking. but in any event, bust out those wallets. I still find it interesting that the union supports it.
  3. Personally, I need a flat surface. Hammocks don't work for me for very long.
  4. A nice light rain and sleeping in a tent is lovely. It's just everything else that sucks, like trying to dry your gear out to pack up and head home. Now I wish I had the time off to go.
  5. Oh, sorry. Can't help you there but I have a propane Coleman stove if anyone wants to borrow it.
  6. He said his wife said no stove needed or requested, maybe they're planning to dine out the whole time
  7. Sounds like you're on the way to a fun adventure.
  8. I also have a hard time finding flight modules that for what I want to do. A lot of it is type specific or part 141 courses. When you enter your info and have a commercial (I assume that's the reason) it recommends weird stuff, like a king air refresher. I did it once two years ago but not since.
  9. I'll be curious how you like the frame seal. I don't think too many are using it?
  10. Did I mention I'm really 12 years old and interested in a young eagle flight?
  11. considering he was at the third busiest GA/BA airport in the US, it's really not. Centennial can rival VNY some days. It is top 25 for all types of operations.
  12. the 6-8 man tents usually have rooms that zip off, you could bring a cassette toilet but that almost sounds worse.
  13. also keep in mind you need a power solution with it in the tent, since it probably won't fit through the door inflated. Also, a lot of us already have this stuff around. I'm happy to lean you anything you need, tent, stove etc. I have a double height air mattress like I posted, an air pump that runs on D cell batteries, a tent fan/led light, heater.... etc etc.
  14. that looks like a winner. I worry about an air mattress being comfortable for you guys, they are not comfortable for me and I'm under 40. (barely )
  15. actually worth less than I would have guessed in Denver, sold for $510k in may of 17, I bet I can find the listing. Lots of photos. http://www.recolorado.com/homes-for-sale/1223-S-Lincoln-Street-Denver-CO-80210-200634316
  16. can't you ship things to yourself ahead of time to like one of those UPS stores? Might be worth considering sending the bulky/heavy stuff ahead UPS ground.
  17. it's 1" higher than the cot you posted (18" vs 17" if I read it right)
  18. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HN8Y37I/ref=twister_dp_update?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1. weighs less than 2 cots
  19. As much stuff as hinting at taking, you're going to be carrying a lot of weight. Tent and air mattress alone are going to be 50lbs, I'm assuming you'll want a stove, a cooler with at least a few small items and some ice, clothes for the two of you, dishes, soap, all adds up. Does anyone have a lightweight fly in camping kit they use? That might be useful info.
  20. I have something similar, it works well for a queen air mattress. I was at costco yesterday and they have all their camping gear out, including a tent similar to that one.
  21. find the address and I'll go take a picture of it some day.
