  1. I am a newbie and was never taught to turn the prop, wait for the fuel to vaporize or to turn off fuel pump before starting? My startup is mostly like Jims on my B. Luckily, it starts up easily eveytime. I'm crossing my fingers afters writing this. Troy
  2. The #3 cylinder is the factory installed probe which is inserted lower then the JPI gasket probe, so it will read lower. That's my understanding ?? Looking forward to figuring it out. I'm excited about the carb temp probe because I think I had a little carb ice last summer on a quick decent. The more info you have the better, If you know what to do with it.
  3. Welcome to the M20B club!!! We need more representation. Looks very clean!!
  4. That's the only monitor on my panel I want to post...looking forward to knowing what all those numbers mean. The installer had to change the hp setting from 300hp to 180hp.

  9. Garmin GPS 155 TSO in perfect condition with manual, tray, antenna, 14 volt Annunciator model MD41-1424. Working perfect before upgrade by fellow Mooniac. $1,000 Going a different direction. Can send you pics. Call/Text 423-432-5426.
  10. I purchased one for my B from Don Maxwell. He may one. Good luck. Troy
  11. Is is bad for me to like the idea of a toggle switch?? I could always wait ane put an audio panel in later when I start working on my instrument rating. I don't want to be the guy that has more in my panel then my plane and want to upgrade to a newer plane. I really want a back up mainly. I have never experienced the luxury of having one so I don't know what I am missing. Troy
  12. I am adding another KX-155 to my existing KX-155. I have always just had one so now I need an audio panel. Please message me if you have one that would work. Thanks. Troy
  13. I'm interested too. I have the same problem. Troy
  14. Too funny. You are crazy and I can't wait to me you. Troy
  15. Thanks everyone. I prob will keep mine for awhile since I have brand new sealed tanks plus I'm putting a EDM 830 next week. I'm just looking forward to getting back in the air more and learning as much as I can. Troy
  16. Just curious...has anyone ever traded in your old plane to get something newer through agencies like this ? Do you they give you much for your old plane? Troy
  17. Great picture!!
  18. I think the quote you posted says it all. When I purchased my B, I asked the mechanic if he would let his son buy it knowing he was going to fly it with his two girls. I pretty much told him he was like my Dad and I needed his opinion because I was clueless. Needless to say I bought the plane. He gave it his approval.
  19. I know a guy, but he is in jail right now. I will let you know when he gets out. I have learned the the hard way too. If you have any doubt, back out. Good luck and I finally go to fly my plane after 7 months. Troy
  20. Probably the prettiest plane I have ever seen. Does he want to trade for a "B"? Troy
  21. I would be interested in a few parts. I have a 1961 M20B as well. Keep us posted. Troy
  22. K32 in Wichita, Ks. 3,200x40 ft. 43 ft trees 603 ft from runway 16 and 40 ft trees 1,500 ft from runway 34. It's no longer open. My first time flying in MN while in school I was getting checked out for a rental, the instructor screamed a little as I pointed the plane straight down to the runway and did a forward slip. I thought that was a normal approach to any runway. I have come a long way from those days.
  23. Looks awesome!! Love the color!!
  24. I have a B and would love the new design. Looks awesome!! Keep up the great work. Troy
