    Chris...I hope it all ends this weekend. I'm going to Chattanooga this weekend to meet up with the "new" guy and he is supposed to fly it over to my old airport. Hopefully fuel is not dripping off the bottom when he pulls in. Will give everyone and update this weekend. Is there a place I can report the guy that started this whole mess. I will post his name after I get my plane back into my possession. Troy

    Carl from "HTS" has reached out to me several times and has talked to me in detail about tank sealants. He even offered to fly over Chattanooga and help me out. He seems to be a top notch guy and very knowledgable. I sure wish I would have gone to him, I wouldn't be in the mess I am in. Troy

    I just ordered one. I will let you know if I ever get back up in the air. I am being promised my plane will be done this weekend. I am not holding my breath. Troy

    I tried to call MAPA this week with no answer of call back. Does anyone know where it will be based out of in Chattanooga. It says it starts on Friday but I don't see any times. What's a normal itinerary for the days? Thanks. Troy

    Anyone attending? I am thinking about going if my plane is done. I thought this would be perfect for me since I haven't flown in 6 months. My Lakehouse is not rented that weekend if people are looking for a place to stay. Chattanooga is an awesome city to visit. Troy

    Thanks everyone. The plane is supposed to be put back together tomorrow. I feel great about the "other" guy that stepped in and finished the job. He had to fly back to his main job and will fly back next week and fly it. To be honest, I don't want to fly it first after all of this work. I'm hoping to go to the MAPA meeting in Chattanooga in June and learn how to fly my plane after 6 months.

    I got pics today of actual sealant in my tanks...first coat. That's a step in the right direction. Troy

    Update...my mechanic checked into rehab yesterday. I have reputable mechanic finishing it this week. I agree with all the comments about playing hardball but it's hard when you are 6 hours away and hard to go after someone that doesn't have a lot to loose. Hope to give everyone a positive update next week.

    Update. I went to the shop this weekend and was surprised to see how much work that needed to be done to the tanks closest to the plane. He said it should be ready next Sunday. Ha! Ha! I laughed and said you have a lot of work left to do and you have only done this much in 4 months. How do I expect you to be done this Sunday? He replied he had another job to be at next week. That's comforting. The dramma continues. Troy

    Wow!! Looks great!! I second the automotive head rests. I dragged my old front seat around a salvage yard and tried about 50 different head rests until I found the perfect fit and style I wanted the I had them reupholstered. Good luck. Troy

    Update on my plane dramma. I finally talked to my A&P and he continues to have several excuses for taking so long. He has a lot of dramma in his life, mostly created by himself. I really think overall he is a good guy and will/wants to finish the project. I ordered the supplies yesterday and he plans to work on it when it comes in. I am going to Chattanooga this weekend and hope to see it in person. Thanks everyone for the support. Troy
