  1. Nice little airport??? I visited it by car about a year ago and I would not recommend it. The runway was full of cracks and rundown. My 2 cents. It would be a nice alternative if they put some money into it.
  2. I fly into AVL about once a month. They do not advertise this but they have a self serve pump that will save you a lot of money. I agree with the above, they are way overpriced.
  3. Airport managers have to provide information on who is renting there hangars for taxes. They will find you.
  4. Call me at+1 (423) 432-5426 and we can discuss the KI209A. Troy
  5. Just looked in my closet and I ask have a KI 208 yellow taged. Not sure if that helps ?? Troy
  6. I have a KI 209A that I need to sell at some point. Not sure if that helps ? Troy
  7. Love mine. Agree with all the above except the smell. Cool in the summer and winter Troy
  8. I fly a fair amount into Asheville and they don't advertise but they do have self serve pump gas for about $2.00 less and it waves part of the fees. The fees are ridiculous, but Sierra Nevada is less then a mile away. Cheers!!! Troy
  9. Alan, how do you know if a KX 155 has a glideslipe by looking at it ?
  10. I have never done an inflight mag check. How do you do it, besides the obvious?? Thanks, Troy
  11. I have a KX155 12V. Message me if interested. Thanks
  12. Can you share more details on making the panel itself. The right side of panel is plastic and looks terrible. I would love to have another panel made instead of the plastic one. Thanks, Troy
  13. Looks like a great plane !!! Congrats!!
  14. Sounds funny but I was hoping it wasn't going to be so nice. It's basically brand new and he thought it didn't run. The conversions I have seen have been on smaller snow blowers. I like the idea of keeping the blower intact somehow. I can push the Mooney around by myself without problems but it would be nice for a little assistance sometimes with the Cherokee 6, it's a little heavier. Thanks for everyone input, Troy
  15. Marauader, I can't look at that beautiful panel with that CB CO Detector stuck to it. Please remove it with one quick rip to ease the pain. I know you got a new one. Thanks, Troy
  16. My partner at work purchased a new snow blower a few months ago because his would not start. He said if I wanted to get it running I could have it for Free. I love Feee stuff. I picked it up today and was surprised by how big it was and how nice. He put SeaFoam in it after all the failed starts and said it will prob start now. Second pull. Runs perfect. I think it's too nice and too big to turn into a Tug?? Do I keep it for the occasional snow or make a awesome Tug???
  17. I used mine yesterday in the Cherokee Six and I was impressed. 8-10 on taxi, 0-2 on cruise. Will test it out in the Mooney in a few weeks when I finally get it back from the shop to fix leaking tank. Looking forward to flying her after flying the Six. Will have to decide to sell or keep both. First World Problems.
  18. Do you do any older Cherokee Six shirts??? Thanks, Troy
  19. I'm about to order one and noticed it says runs large. I normally wear an XL but have had to go to an XXL lately. I know. I know. I got two XL a Mooney shirts from another source for Christmas and both are two small. Should I go for the XXL or XL. 5'9, 210# Thanks. Troy
  20. Awesome!! Just ordered mine. Thanks again. Troy
  21. I took one of my seats to the junk yard and tried several different head rests until I found the look I wanted that fit. Obviously take the seat before getting new leather put on. Lol. Troy
