  1. And while I was picking up the "steeenkin badges" from Pedro's garage, He told me of a Teresa Covington quilt he has hanging in his house. Her work is revered by the Porsche community as well as the Mooney Community! There are a lot of great items on the Mooney Summit Silent auction that are trending way cheaper than they should. Consider supporting your community and getting some great aviation products at the same time. No, you do not have to be at the summit to win! https://app.galabid.com/summit8auction/items
  2. uhhhhhh....oh never mind!
  3. Of course they are welcome, we need the drama No Chris, the harem can't come...not enough BBQ or reception eats to cover them without increasing reg fees past the national budget
  4. Most of the registered attendee's are bringing their wives/significant others. While there are not any spousal activities set up or planned, I have yet to see a group of non flying spouses not come up with something to do. Tampa is full of fun things, Yibor City in downtown Tampa is a great place to spend a bit of time, and if they are wanting to see the ocean, the #1 rated beach in clearwater is close. She will def. want to attend the Sun Eve reception where Walter Dodge of Kelly Aerospace will be the pitmaster who hails from just up the road from Shelby Co. (great airport, I have trained a couple of new Mooney owners there)
  5. Wisconsin Aviation is making a donation to the Mooney Summit soon. Perhaps it would be a great way to get a Jaeger Spatial interior going for you! I put one in my F when I owned it and loved it
  6. We have an Anonymous donor donate 100 Raffle tickets to our silent auction! Win this auction item and you will be entered 100 times into our raffle! Winners need not be present this year and this is a great way to get in the raffle if you cannot come. https://app.galabid.com/summit8auction/items
  7. It was there Yesterday, I'm sure they will be happy to let you see it. John@atlasaviation.com might be able to shed some light. It's been there for years
  8. Non judgmental, If anyone has any surviving children's contact info, please let me know. Lets be careful in assigning age as the reason. Most people who own and fly are now eligible for Social Security, we will continue to see plane incidents, accidents that involve aged pilots at a greater number than 20 year olds. I am fortunate a 17 year old trusts my 71 year old butt to fly his acclaim whenever I want.

  10. Outstanding work! Thank you Teresa
  11. There is one on the ramp at ktpf corroding away Atlas aviation would love to see moved since they haven't been pd for tie down in like forever
  12. We had an anonymous donor donate 50 raffle tickets to our silent auction! Starting bid is 200$ for 1 AMU's worth of raffle tickets! This should be a no brainer to lock in high probability of winning a lot of cool things like a set of tempest plugs, timing kit, new push pull control cables, etc. https://app.galabid.com/summit8auction/items
  13. Mooney Summit VIII Silent Auction This year, the Mooney Summit Silent Auction will be online and open to everyone, not just the attendees of the Mooney Summit VIII. The Mooney Summit is our safety and educational conference designed to “better the breed” of the Mooney pilot and is our fundraiser for our charity, the Bill Gilliland foundation to provide crisis intervention and financial assistance for downed Mooney Pilots’ immediate family. What better way to pick up that new “gizmo” or arrange a Mooney Service Center annual knowing that the money you spend will 100% go to helping those of us at the time of greatest need. These items are not discounted anywhere making it easy for one to bid the retail price knowing the help it will provide. As a 501c3 charity, any amount above retail bid would be tax deductible as a charitable contribution to boot. Here is your opportunity to participate in our community if you are unable to attend the Mooney Summit VIII and improving your plane at the same time! Registration for the Mooney Summit VIII Silent auction is easy, simply go here or scan the QR code and click “register” Thanks and good luck!
  14. Agreed, I just put it up quickly when I renewed the DN and realize it is sparce. Soon I will link a training request form with calendar to the new client info sheet where we describe our rates and insurance requirements. But for now, I must dedicate time to help Rick put on the Mooney Summit as well as take care of a few clients whom are scheduled. The show must go on!
  15. /shameless plug mode = on www.mooneypros.com /shameless plug mode = off
  16. Thanks Stephen, Mooney Pros, Inc. appreciates your dedication to becoming proficient on your magnificent panel. Rob and I will continue to try to resolve why this is happening to you of course.
  17. These titanium TKS stall strips are glued on and when lost, become not only difficult to obtain timely, but are very pricey. They are different than the non TKS mooney stall strips.
  18. Don't discount making sure the rear baffle seal on a J is sealing completely on the upper cowl. The have a tendency to droop in the middle. Tha will really improve cyl cooling
  19. Thanks Nidal, you guys rock! the Mooney Community appreciates your kindness and dedication to safety
  20. @microkit, Are you still in for a donation to the Mooney Summit this year? Thanks for all you do to help enhance safety!
  21. John, check in the pax foot well using the CO monitor, it should help you find the leaks. That was where the Bravo I had triggered the Sensorcon I have and I was able to plug up the ultra small opening I found. Good call on not getting CO poisoning
  22. Tamara, Next time im that way, Old country tavern on me! Keep Lynn away from Don's goats
  23. I busted one of these years ago on my F model with a 201 prop. I realize we are talking apples and oranges with your Bravo prop, but Clarences' post reminded me of the importance of the fit of the front bulkhead and the hub. This should be very tight and shimmed with UHMW tape if needed.
