The end of my extension support arm for the baggage door broke.  Any suggestions on finding a replacement?  Thanks!

I'd like the same part for the "me" door. It's been bent and straightened out several times, and I just rebent it and WD-40'd it over the weekend. So far the baggage door thingy is doing well, I think.

"If it moves and it's not supposed to, duct tape it."

"If it doesn't move, and it's supposed to, apply WD-40."

You might try taking it into your local FBO and asking them if they can repair it.  Mine broke last year as well, and my shop here was able to weld if back together.  I'm not a welder, but my guess would have been that welding it would have been very difficult.  But the weld is barely noticeable, and it's been holding up fine since.  Probably a lot cheaper than buying a new one.

Mine broke, too. I found an autocad file for the support arm and went to a friend who made me one. It's perfect. It won't let me upload the file but if you PM me I could email it to you.

Thanks for the help.  I think we are going to repair it and have it welded back together.  Bumper, thanks for the offer in Nevada!
