Bill_Carter Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 Have any of you read this book? Looking for a critique.
aviatoreb Posted June 8, 2013 Report Posted June 8, 2013 I read that back as a freshly minted PPL. I was craving just that extra sort of insight that is in that book. Fried was a 50,000 hr pilot chief CFI type originally from WWII. His stories from the field were not just fun to read but wonderful experience and perspective to learn beyond the more mechanical aspects of flying that going into passing a PPL checkride.
