N601RX Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 I recently came across this. Seems like all the old newsletters back to 91 are online. http://mooney.org.au/newsletters Quote

Jeff_S Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 Ozzie ozzie ozzie, oy oy oy! I lived in Australia for a time in the mid-80s, way before I ever thought about flying. Would sure love to go back there now and tool around in a Mooney. That would be "the bees knees!" (I hope that particular slang is still current and doesn't date me horribly.) Quote

flyboy0681 Posted May 26, 2013 Report Posted May 26, 2013 I'm a (infrequent) participant on the site. There's not much action because there are only a couple of hundred Mooney's in the entire country, but they are definitely passionate and the association's newsletter is quite good. Lots of stories of forced landings in the absolute middle of nowhere and how the Mooney community comes together from all over to fix the airplane on the spot. Quote
