Hi All,

I've got a recently purchased 1964 C model that has the sloped windshield mod. As a result, I can't get to the top of the hydraulic fluid reservoir to check or fill it. On the engine side of the firewall, near the reservoir, I see about a 3/8" in diameter, 6" long copper tube with a plug in it and also a smaller diameter clear tube running down the firewall towards the bottom of the cowling.

I think that I can fill the copper tube until I see fluid coming through the clear tube.

Anyone with specific experience with this set up?

Thanks,

Bob

I also have the 201 window mod. I have a hose attached to the top of the reservoir. I pump the hydralic fluid into the brake caliper down at the wheel until it comes out the hose at the top of the reservoir.
