tclimb Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago Hello everybody. My name is Todd out of KBOI Boise, Idaho. New to the group and the whole Mooney world. I have my eye on purchasing a M20F. I have never even sat inside a Mooney, nor have I flown in one. I am hoping there is a CFI/pilot around the Boise area that would be able to take me up, become familiar with the plane, and feel the Mooney experience. Thank you!!...Todd
PeteMc Posted 11 hours ago Report Posted 11 hours ago You can try reaching out to the Mooney Safety Foundation https://mooneysafety.com/ There is a Contact button in the Upper Right of their home page. They use instructors from all over the country for their Pilot Proficiency Programs (PPP), so they may know of instructors in your area. And the PPP is a good training program as a new Mooney owner. You can also check out The Mooney Flyer page http://themooneyflyer.com/cfi.html (not sure why they've never switched it to a HTTPS site, but I believe it is safe to visit). If you scroll down you'll find by state CFIs. None that I saw in ID, but there were a few in WA & OR that you may be able to work something out with. And if you're at the point of looking for an F, I have a friend selling his Trophy 212. It is an F with all of the J modifications. Let me know if you want info on it.

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I will never get tired of looking at planes, so if you want to send information of your friend's plane, I would love to check it out...Todd
