banjo Posted June 11 Report Posted June 11 I am selling my M20C turbo kit l purchased about 6 years ago from a freind of Rayjay Tom. It includes all the parts and at the same time of purchase bought the exhaust gaskets and a scavenger pump kit, which Tom said it needed. A whole book on installation instructions to manual etc ... It has a separate throttle which controls the turbo, meaning you can use the turbo only when you need it. J never got the chance to install it. now lm changing to a different aircraft. includes exhaust $12,000 1 Quote
M20 Ogler Posted July 9 Report Posted July 9 Does this also have the STC to go with the 337? Anyone know how many shop hours one should expect for install? Saturday I was getting 141 knots true at 12,500’. What would a Rajay add to that? For some reason I can’t see the jpeg you posted. Seth Quote
redrider54 Posted July 10 Report Posted July 10 This is tempting!!!!! I would love the extra power especially at my DA around 6-8k. Quote
banjo Posted July 11 Author Report Posted July 11 Hi, l moved the add to the correct place, classifieds spare parts. it comes with a lot of paper work, l can send you some photos of them. its a turbo normalizer which means it gives you ground manifold pressure up hi. its got speed charts l think at 12,500 if your doing 140 with normal aspiration with a turbo about 165 with 180,190 up at 18,000. I’ll have a look at the charts Quote
banjo Posted July 11 Author Report Posted July 11 The beauty of this is it comes with a second throttle you only turn it on if you need it. So local flights under 6,000 you wouldn’t even use it.Then on cross country getting over cloud tops into the teens having that needed climbing power at altitude and higher cruising speeds would make cross country a breeze. 1 Quote
