jeremyc209 Posted March 26 Report Posted March 26 I have a G2 Insight and I'm wondering if I can adjust the thresholds for green/yellow/red CHT bars. Default is red at 460 (!!) and yellow at 410 I believe. I'd prefer something more like yellow at 400 red at 420. I can't find anything in the manual about making any of these changes, but I'm assuming they have to be adjustable somehow to account for different engine applications right? Quote
hammdo Posted March 26 Report Posted March 26 I’d call them. Mine was programmed by them. They may be able to get you the info or suggest sending it in. I had the updated screen put on mine and had it back quickly. -Don Quote
gabez Posted March 27 Report Posted March 27 I think if you press the pg button when the probs are up it shows the settings. Quote
jeremyc209 Posted Tuesday at 11:42 PM Author Report Posted Tuesday at 11:42 PM This was the response from Insight. 450/500 for warning levels seems pretty useless right? Quote
201Steve Posted Wednesday at 12:16 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 12:16 AM I have an insight g2, always thought about this but… green bars, red bars, I just look at the numbers. I don’t think there’s any audio on the unit On 3/26/2025 at 1:58 PM, hammdo said: had the updated screen put on mine and had it back quickly. What’s the deal with the new screen? Any benefit? Quote
hammdo Posted Wednesday at 12:27 AM Report Posted Wednesday at 12:27 AM My G2 was an older version and the newer screen is improved. I sent it back for repair (EPROM failure) so they offered the upgrade at a reasonable cost. -Don Quote

It would be nice to have a bit more obvious of an indicator when temps start getting near the danger zone instead of the first warning being 30deg passed a much more reasonable redline for the engine. 1 Quote
