Mw2307 Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 Has anyone done the upgrade from the Ameri-King AK-450 ELT to the 406 Mhz AK-451. Found our 450 dead in the process of importing a J into Canada and need to replace so might as well go to a 406 Mhz unit. Is the AK-451 really plug and play replacement.
N601RX Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 I recently installed a ACK 406. Although optional we went ahead and wired into the GPS.
