Hello everyone.

I have purchased a used Lycoming IO-360-A1A engine for my future RV8. It was originally from a MOONEY M20E (N6031Q) and I have some parts left over, before throwing them away I was wondering if maybe someone is interested in them.

Some parts are fine, others however have dents, although I suppose they are repairable.

I'm not asking for much, something symbolic for the effort of shipping :)
The parts are in Switzerland. If anyone wants to come get them, they are free. If there is no interest I will take them directly to the recycling center.

Only green parts and the exhaust

Best regards

Those are some of the nicest E baffles I have seen. I would jump on them but mine are adequate and I think there are some folks who can really benefit from them more than me.

Hi @SwissVolts

I own an E model in Australia. These would fit my plane and while I currently don't need them, I'd love them for spares.

If anyone has greater need for them then let them have them, but otherwise I'd love them.

I'll pm you with details for shipping cost and send you that and a good symbolic bit more. :)

The first to contact me was "clh", he is also in Switzerland, which would make it easier, but If he regrets it, I'll send you the parts to Australia :)

Swiss parts won’t work in Australia, the toilets and everything else works backwards.  I personally don’t understand how they work -160kts versus +160kts but they figure it out.

Thats great, good to know they aren't being wasted.

Thanks, enjoy your RV

I think all that acetone you're using to clean your windscreen is getting to you!:D

Craig (clh) came last week, I'm happy that the parts will soon be flying again!

Due to the upgrade I am doing on the engine I will put many parts on sale: Magnetos S4LN-204 + Ignition harness, 50A alternator, starter, dry air pump, fuel pump, injection throttle body, oil sump and Flywheel.

I know this is not the right place, to publish in the sale section I have seen that it indicates (those that have donated $10 or more in the past year).

It must be last year? I mean, if I donate now I guess I won't be able to publish either, right?

Best regards

You can donate now, and as soon as it is processed you can post an ad in the classifieds.

Those are great spares/replacements for many of us, so you should find some buyers.  Hopefully shipping doesn't make it impossible.

Any chance you have the adapter that attached from the engine to the oil filter? I'm looking to upgrade my screen to a filter.

Unless the seller has specifically followed this topic, your question may never be seen.  If you want to be sure the seller sees your post, you can select part of what they wrote and then select the resulting "Quote Selection" popup, or you can tag your post like this @SwissVolts

Hi joemoriss, I need the oil filter adapter and it is not for sale, thanks for the interest.

When I find a little time I will take photos of everything and open a new post in the sale section.
