hobbit64 Posted September 16, 2022 Report Posted September 16, 2022 Does anyone here have a spare set of flap and pitch trim indicator cables? Or have an idea of whom to contact in my search for them? I’m looking for #43 & #46 in the attached picture Thanks! Quote

KSMooniac Posted September 16, 2022 Report Posted September 16, 2022 Do you need the whole cable, or just the inner wire? It's nothing special...you could match diameter from a supply place like Grainger or similar and just fish the new one thru the housing.Sent from my LM-V450 using Tapatalk Quote
carusoam Posted September 17, 2022 Report Posted September 17, 2022 For pre-flown parts… (flap and trim indicators) @Alan Fox @Jerry Pressley @SheryLoewen Best regards, -a- 1 Quote

Seems the inner wires are binding Quote

N201MKTurbo Posted September 21, 2022 Report Posted September 21, 2022 It’s not just a Bowden cable, it has a custom end where it mounts to the trim wheel gear box. 1 Quote

EricJ Posted September 21, 2022 Report Posted September 21, 2022 Yeah, that's gonna be McFarlane or McMaster... https://www.mcmaster.com/bowden-cable/ Quote
M20F-1968 Posted September 22, 2022 Report Posted September 22, 2022 These are hard to find. You may find someone to make it. The later years did away with the threaded end, but the threaded end is more secure. There were about $750.00 each if you could find one. I may have one for a short body which I chose to keep due to their rarity. It may be too short for my F in which case I might be enticed to sell it. I'll look and see if it is really usable as a spare for my F. John Breda Quote
