Scottsdale is perhaps the least likely place to expect hangar space for a CB. You may be able to find a tie-down spot. For $$ there are a number of places that cater to jets/turboprops that will likely have space. All of the local airports have long wait lists for hangars, some are even full on tie-downs now. You should be able to at least get a tie-down at Deer Valley. You have to be more networked than me to turn up hangar space around here on short notice, especially for CBs. 1
DCarlton Posted July 21, 2022 Report Posted July 21, 2022 I haven't been in a few years, but I made dozens and dozens of trips to Scottsdale and always went to KFFZ (Mesa Falcon Field). They used to have rental cars on the field. Not sure about now.

RobertGary1 Posted July 21, 2022 Report Posted July 21, 2022 Its cheaper to keep a plane in the San Francisco Bay area than Phoenix. I go down there somewhat regularly and outlying airports are not really any cheaper than going into PHX. PHX has all the services you'd want so I go there.
