I've been hunting everywhere to get the panel dimensions for a 1965 M20E to work on a panel project. The closest I've been able to get is 42" wide, does anyone from a CAD file or something similar have the width/height of the panel? Or rough dimensions within an inch or two?

There are a few panel construction threads around here where people were sharing drawings and dimensions….

And cutting techniques and finishing techniques…

And where to buy pre-cut panels and a resource that will modify their drawing and cut a panel for you…

The aluminum part is the low cost part of the project…

And there is @Aerodon that shares all kinds of details to making spectacular panels…. With flush mount details… for things like the G5 units and others…. Check his picture collection…

Search the words water jet… there were discussions on panel making with this type of cutter…

I've searched quite a bit, carusoam. Most of the posts that talk about vintage panel projects, the pictures don't load, and the ones I can find it's just progress photos or completed projects, not so much dimensions ;) . Thanks for the offer Greg!

Posting here so there's a reference for others:

Mooney M20E panel dimensions:

41" wide

11.75" height, left/right panels

12.75" height center panel (1" extra underneath engine controls)

Bummer!

Memory issues have removed many files….

But, Greg is an excellent resource!

I have a drawing for an E model.  I am traveling currently but can get it for you if you still need it.

Can you send to me, please?
